This seminar is an intensive master class in Classical Five Element Acupuncture focusing on the foundations of the practice: Patient / Practitioner relationship, Ancient Chinese Cosmology, Diagnosis, and Clinical Strategies. Faculty will investigate these topics through didactic, scholastic, and experiential lenses. Seminar attendees will earn 16 CEUs. Seasonal fresh snacks and lunch provided as part of the study of the element water.

This fee covers the cost of one seminar attendee for November 23 and 24, 2019.

Elisabeth Rochat de Vallee

Lingshu Institute’s Classical Chinese Scholar. Translator specializing in Classical texts on medicine and philosophy.  Former Chief Editor of the Grand Ricci Dictionary.  Author of numerous books and articles on classical Chinese medicine.


Allegra Wint, M.S., Lic.Ac., MAc.

Allegra Wint, who was taught by J.R.Worsley, has practiced Classical Five Element Acupuncture in Oxford, England since 1975. She was a member of the faculty of the Worsley College, and a lecturer and clinical supervisor from 1978 till 1984. She then became a freelance lecturer. Allegra researched the history of point location in different traditions and published material and worked as a point location consultant for College of Traditional Acupuncture and College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, UK. 

Since having her first child in 1984, she researched and taught the use of acupuncture for pregnancy, childbirth and post-natal care. In recent years her teaching has focused on the use of the intuitive faculty of the mind in order to access a greater resource of awareness and understanding when working with patients.

Margaret Arent, M.Ac

Peggy has committed her life to the pure practice of Classical Five Element Acupuncture for more than 40 years.  She is the founder of the Lingshu Institute, which aims to teach and preserve this ancient system of hands-on healing for generations to come.
